In this work, the author conducts a critical analysis of the Internal Regulations of the Aguaruna Native Communities of the Alto Mayo, examining what it reveals and conceals, its usefulness and disadvantages for the judiciary and for the indigenous people themselves, its relationship with human rights, and finally a confrontation with the actual reality experienced by this population.
