Open Access and Rights Policy
Amazonía Peruana publishes original and unpublished articles in open access format, available for free consultation starting with the first issue of the journal.
The author(s) and/or co-author(s) consent to the Centro Amazónico de Antropología y Aplicación Práctica (CAAAP) publishing their journal Amazonía Peruana (which includes their "article") under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, which allows others to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon their work, even for commercial purposes, provided that the author(s) of the original creation are acknowledged.
The author and/or co-authors retain the copyright to the article:
a. The authors retain their trademark and patent rights, as well as rights to any process or procedure described in the article.
b. The authors retain the right to share, copy, distribute, perform, and publicly communicate the article published in the journal Amazonía peruana (for example, by placing it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), provided that the initial publication in the journal Amazonía peruana is acknowledged.
c. The authors retain the right to republish their work and to use the article or any part thereof (for example, in a compilation of their works, conference papers, theses, or a book), provided they cite its initial publication in the journal Amazonía peruana (authors of the work, journal, volume, issue, and date).
d. If the author and/or co-authors wish to republish the accepted article, they must agree to include the date on which it was originally published in Amazonía Peruana and to notify the journal’s editor of this republication.
Open Access Statement
Amazonía Peruana provides open access to its content. It makes its content available in immediate, full-text open access, based on the principle that allowing free access to research results leads to greater global knowledge exchange. Furthermore, this journal does not charge —and will not charge— its readers any subscription fees, nor does it charge authors for submitting, processing, or publishing their articles. The copyright of an academic work grants others the right to use it through an open license. This allows for immediate, free access to the work and enables any user to read, download, copy, distribute, and print it. It also makes it possible to search for or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, feed them as data into software, or use them for any other legal purpose. Requiring users to register in order to read content is not permitted.
Self-Archiving
The journal Amazonía Peruana provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research contributes to a greater global exchange of knowledge. The journal adopts self-archiving policies.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
The journal Amazonía Peruana does not charge authors any publication fees or any other types of charges. It does not and will not charge its readers any subscription fees, nor does it charge authors for submitting, processing, or publishing their articles.
