Longevidad cerámica e interpretación arqueológica: Un ejemplo del Alto Ucayali

La longevidad diferencial de las formas de vasijas cerámicas afecta las frecuencias de estas formas en un basurero arqueológico. Las frecuencias de las formas modernas de vasijas Conibo en uso se proyectan en el registro arqueológico y los resultados se comparan con las frecuencias de formas antecedentes de sitios arqueológicos en el Alto Ucaya li. Se discuten algunas de las variables, distintas de la longevidad diferencial, necesarias para dar cuenta de las diferentes frecuencias. También se explora la utilidad de los datos de longevidad para estimar la población necesaria para producir un basurero arqueológico.
