About the Journal
Amazonía Peruana is an annual journal published since 1976 by the Amazon Center for Anthropology and Practical Application, dedicated to the anthropology and social sciences of the Amazon region in general.
Amazonía Peruana features contributions from Peruvian and international researchers (anthropologists, historians, linguists, writers, etc.), as well as leading experts on the region.
The journal Amazonía Peruana is composed of four sections: thematic sections, research advances, chronicles, and reviews related to the Amazon and its inhabitants in general. The articles, while they should constitute scientific contributions to the knowledge of this region, are aimed at a wide range of readers with diverse interests related to the study of the Amazonian reality.
