Aspects of the Kukama-Kukamiria worldview

In this article, the author argues that the Kukama-Kukamiria, an ethnic group belonging to the Tupi-Guarani linguistic family, maintains a close relationship with their environment. They still retain terms in their language, previously described by Tessmann and Girard, for the phases of the moon and the constellations. The author presents two myths that express the origin of the constellations.
