In the first part of this article, published in the previous issue of our journal, the author discussed the semi-symbolization established by C. Lévi-Strauss between the potter and jealousy, based on a corpus of mythical variants drawn from the Jivaro ethnic group. In this second and final part, E. Ballón examines the versions concerning the origin of pottery-making among the Jivaro, establishing that jealousy is not an emotional state involved in the motif concerning the origin of clay, but rather in the craft and art of pottery-making.
