Objectives and scope
Objective
The Peruvian Amazon Journal is a multidisciplinary space for the production and publication of knowledge, seeking to highlight the transformation processes of the Amazonian indigenous peoples and their contributions to the construction of an intercultural society.
Specific Objectives:
- Publish original works with high quality standards. These may include articles, essays, research advances, book reviews, among others.
- Publish works from various disciplines or specialties.
- Select and publish works that are the product of a rigorous review process.
- Publish works that express the reality of the various countries of the Pan-Amazon region.
Focus and Scope
We produce an annual issue that publishes original articles, the product of analysis and research on topics and issues related to the Amazonian indigenous peoples from various disciplines such as anthropology, sociology, political science, archaeology, social psychology, geography, history, communication, economics, literature, art, law, etc. For the reasons stated above, the journal is aimed at a multidisciplinary audience.
The works we publish meet quality standards, address a variety of topics, and are produced from diverse disciplines and perspectives. All articles undergo a rigorous peer-reviewed and selection process.
Furthermore, the works we publish have geographic coverage that extends to the various countries that make up the Pan-Amazon region.
