About the Journal

Amazonía Peruana is a journal that publishes specialized works in Anthropology, Social Sciences, and other related areas linked to the Amazon region, such as articles, reviews, research updates and chronicles. Its mission is to be a multidisciplinary academic journal specializing in anthropology, social sciences, and related fields in relation to the Amazon at the national and international levels, and to contribute to knowledge and understanding of the region through scientific and academic production and the publication of research articles, bibliographic reviews, and opinion pieces. Its vision is to be one of the most consulted and navigable journals promoting research and understanding of the reality, issues, and proposals concerning the Amazon at the national and international levels.
