The Center for Theological Studies of the Amazon (CETA) was created on May 20, 1972, by the Apostolic Vicar of Iquitos, Bishop Gabino Peral de la Torre. From its inception, CETA sought to recover the memory and history of the peoples of eastern Peru, and achieved this through the creation, in the same year, of the Amazonian Library (AL). Thus, within a period of no less than ten years, it became one of the most consulted repositories for researchers, students, and the general public. The purpose of this paper is to acknowledge the editorial work carried out by CETA, which is housed in the AL.
