Abstract

This work aims to highlight that technological development is perfectly possible in native community territories, territorial reserve zones, and areas with the presence of archaeological sites, provided that a plan is implemented prior to, during, and upon completion of the work. It also seeks to examine the methodology that hydrocarbon companies technically develop during the different operational stages of these activities. Basically, we wish to address the critical and otherwise unknown points when integrating search and identification work for archaeological sites, given that framing such work in Amazonian zones is extremely delicate and hazardous due to the dense vegetation that obstructs the visualization of sites, in addition to dealing with inaccessible areas.
