Religion and Shamanism of the Matsigenka (Eastern Peru)

In this article, the author attempts to provide a simplified description of the Matsigenka religious concept. He also analyzes the role of the shaman as a fundamental element in understanding the religion itself, as well as its cultic, ritual, and evangelical-social aspects.
