Abstract

In this article, the author describes several aspects of the phonological component of the Aguaruna language (Jivaroan language family). The study focuses primarily on the pronunciation of the vowel a, as well as the consonants m, n, b, d, g, and n. It concludes with some suggestions regarding the graphemic representation of these segments.
