A reação contra a descolonização da intelectualidade

Este artigo aborda a questão da descolonização das relações de poder inerentes à história da intelectualidade ocidental por meio da antropologia do lúdico e da inspiração da política e da poética narrativa dos povos amazônicos, em particular dos piaroa do Orinoco venezuelano. Percorre alguns relatos do multiverso da cosmologia piaroa, mostrando como os deuses criadores das pessoas, dos alimentos e das poderosas artes culinárias atuam como monstros grotescos envenenados por seu excesso de poder, dominados pela hybris, pela paranoia e pela megalomania. A vida diária piaroa ridiculariza humoristicamente todos os tiranos e surge do desafio colocado a cada pessoa, homem ou mulher, de controlar essas poderosas "forças de pensamento" liberadas pelos deuses nos tempos da criação para gerar uma existência social propriamente humana.
